AITM was established in 1980 as a Muslim minority institution, and is currently positioned among the renowned technical institutions in Karnataka, with a well developed infrastructure and dedicated faculty. AITM is the only institution in North Canara, which offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) course of VTU. Many students have achieved good ranks at the university level, and have been placed at reputed companies in India and abroad. It has a well disciplined and conducive study environment with a 50 acre Wi-Fi campus, Mosque, and hostel with veg. and non-veg. boarding facilities. The departments of Civil and Mechanical engineering have been recognized as research centres under VTU. Sincere efforts are on, to impart adequate skills to the students, enabling them grow up to a globally competent level and tackle the professional challenges in a multidisciplinary working environment

I think I really got a really good opportunity while studying in this college,especially the hostel wifi. facilities.placements also are giving from good companies.
The most attractive part about this college is the teacheds all supporting us in participating extra caricular activities,we always used to represent our college in sports and all.
After attending cet its very easy to get admission in all colleges,but those who get less marks also can study in this college in an affordable fee.
I can tell that fee is less compared to other colleges but I am not so much satisfied about the placement.
It is near to my home and my father is a farmer the fee is affordable for him,and our teachers are really good and always clearing our douts.
Teachers are all supporting us for all kind of activities but I this the sports ground should be little more developed.I am really hap[py with the hostel facilities.
My college days are really memorable really the nature friendly environment,we use to use so much wifi in hostel,the environment was really good to study late night and all.
I think for a average person this will be vey useful to study affordable fee and really supportive teachers.
