K.L.N. College of Information Technology, started in the year,2001, is the first engineering college in Madurai with a focus on Information technology. It was started by the munificence of philanthropists and well-wishers in Sourashtra community, which is a linguistic minority in Tamil Nadu. The College, a co-educational one, is sponsored by K.L.N. Sourashtra College of Engineering Council consisting of eminent industrialists and academicians led by the pioneer Amarar, Thiru. K.L.N. Krishnan. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. It is also an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution. The Founder President Amarar. K.L.N. Krishnan was a great visionary legend in small scale industries and had rendered yeomen service to the cause of education including women's education. K.L.N College of Information Technology is a well-known institution in Madurai and throughout Tamil Nadu. Dr. K.N.K. GANESH, an eminent Engineer and Industrialist, succeeded his illustrious father as President and Currently as Secretary of K.L.N. Sourashtra College of Engineering Council and Correspondent of KLNCIT and is assisted by other Members of the Executive Committee and the Governing Council.

ompanies are invited to the college by the TPO cell. They are also invited to contact the Placement Officer for their requirement. The details of the final year students opting for placement are sent to the responding companies as per their requirements. The company confirms their convenient date. Travel and other hospitality arrangements are taken care by the college. The company conducts their recruitment program in the K.L.N.C.I.T campus. The selected candidates are intimated of their recruitment status in the subsequent days.
College is good but Placements are average here.Apart from that everything is good here.
I had a great time here .I enjoyed a lot .I got soo much practical knowledge over here.
Fees structure is affordable by everyone.But we can get scholarship from college.Placement scenario is not that much good.But ok.Few number of students placed in campus.Package also average for them.Hostel facilities over here is good.The college faculties were graduated and majority of them were experienced.They were very interactive But not all the staff.The standard of teaching was good but not the best.and they are ready to help when needed.There is soo many extra curricular activities available in our college.They used to host several programs such as sport events.So it is the best place to get practical knowledge as well as enjoyment.But there is no internship from college side.
Placements are average here.Faculty are ok but not well experienced .Infrastructure is good here.

College is good .Placements are moderate here.There is no core companies at all.When i talk about infrastructure its good only but not upto the mark.Well equipped labs and modern updated class rooms and huge library.Hostel facilities also good here.Faculty members are really good here.They are well qualified and knowledgable.Their teaching methods are very attracting.We have a industrial exposure .Scholarship is avilable for every student.
