Presidency College has come a long way since its inception. The presidency group of institutions was founded in the year 1976; however, the presidency college itself was established in the year 2000.

- Should have passed Pre-University exam from any of the recognized Secondary Education Board.
Additional Eligibility Criteria for BCA:
You should have passed Diploma in Engineering with a minimum aggregate of 35% in every year/semester.

- Should have passed BCA/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree.
- OR Passed B.Sc/B.Com/BA with Mathematics at 10+2 level or Graduation level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned University).
- Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
