The St. Joseph's College of Engineering (SJCOE), Chennai was established in 1994 under the aegis of Jeppiaar Educational Trust in accordance with general policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu. It gives high priority to Technical Education in order to meet the growing demands of trained Engineers to various industrial and development projects in Tamil Nadu and rest of India. The vision of St. Joseph's College of Engineering is to become a world class educational center of the nation for engineering, technology, computer application and management with moral and professional standards to serve the community at large. Their mission is to achieve academic excellence in engineering, technology, computer application and management education, to develop overall personality of their students and venture for sustained placement for their students through campus interview.
