The Maharaja Institute of Technology was established in the year 2006.The establishment of Maharaja Institute of Technology is one more milestones in the academic excellence of the Maharaja Group of Institutions. The College is located at Coimbatore about 8 Kms from Coimbatore International Airport and 18 Kms from Coimbatore Railway station. The infrastructure has latest resources and well experienced Faculty.

Maharaja Institute of technology has separate Placement and Training with full time Placement officer devoted to cater to the needs of organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements. It plays a very important and key role in counseling and guiding the students of the college for their successful career. Placement which is crucial interfaces for the students between the stages of completion of academic programme of studies and entry into the suitable employment. This Office also coordinates various activities related to the career of the students along with the industrial training.
The college facilities is really good and education system also good in this college.
But the placement is very poor in college,very small companies are coming for placements and with very low salary.
Hostel facility is very normal and food is also not so good but the rooms and all well orgonised.
Our industrial visits are really good ,and workshops also conducted by them ,so much useful for the students.
They are not supporting us for extracurricular activities.
There is no ragging and all in this campus,our seniors are really helpful for us ,there is clubs and all in our campus.
I got here through interview ,it was worthfull to study.
Our college is providing scolorships according to the high marks,competitions,talent shows etc.
It was really helping for us where the faculy members really supportive,can approach any time for doubts.
