VITEEE 2023 – Application Process Has Begun, Eligibility, Paper Pattern and Dates to Remember
Before we jump onto discuss anything about VITEEE 2019 exams and applications, here’s an infographic for those of you who might say TL;DR

The application process for VIT aka Vellore Institute of Technology‘s Engineering Entrance Exam for the academic year of 2019 has started from Nov 1. If you are interested in taking up the entrance exam make sure you visit their official website. But before that read this post and understand the eligibility criteria, paper patterns and everything else related to VITEEE 2023 Exam process.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You should be of age 21 as of July 1st. Let’s make it easier shall we? If you are born before 1st July of 1997, you are not eligible and you are lucky if you are born on or after that.
- You should have an aggregate of at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Math or Biology in your 12th or 12th
- Average marks for PCM or PCB should be more than or equal to 50%, this is for SC/ST and North East Candidates.
- Are you a NIOS student? Well, lucky for you, you are eligible to apply too. Also, those who studied in regular, full time and formal educational institutions are eligible to apply as well.
Exam Pattern:
The Exam includes questions based on Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology and English. Candidates appearing in VITEEE 2023 Exam can attempt the combination of wither PCBE or PCME. In both cases, there will be a total of 120 questions from all the subjects depending on the combination you want to attempt. All the questions will be multiple choice and the time allowed is 2.5 hrs. Good News is that there will not be any negative marking so attempt every question.
Items/Information you should have handy while applying:
- Make sure you have an email Id and a valid phone number. (That’s basic, everyone has that)
- You can do the Payments through Debit/Credit Card or Net banking.
- Fee for application will be Rs 1,150.
- You will need one photograph of yourself (10-200 kb, 3.5 x 4.5 cm) and another photograph of your signature (10-200 kb, 3.5 x 1.5 cm).
How to Apply For VITEEE 2023 Exam?
- Visit Vellore Institute Of technology’s official website.
- Click on the New Applicant Button and Register. (It’ll be available once the applications are live).
- Fill in all the details and submit.
That’s it, you have applied for VITEEE 2019 Entrance Exam, Congratz. By The Way, don’t forget to save a copy of the application for your future reference.
Important Dates to Remember:
- Online Applications will be available from the 1st week of November 2019. Offline Applications will be available from 2nd Week of November.
- VITEEE 2023 Mock test will be available during the 1st week of January 2023.
- The last date to submit the online application- Second week of March 2023.
- You can start booking your slots from 3rd week of March and admit cards will be available during the same time period.
- VITEEE 2023 Exam will be conducted in the first and second week of April 2023.
- VITEEE 2023 Results will be announced in the fourth week of April 2023.
- Counselling will be conducted during the second & third week of May 2023.
