An opportunity for applicants to get admitted to MBA, PGDM, and MCA programs given by 169+ University-affiliated B-schools and more than 55 MCA colleges in Karnataka is provided by the state-level exam known as KMAT. Previously, the KMAT exam was exclusively open to applicants having Karnataka residence. But as of 2018, the domicile requirement was dropped, allowing applicants from other states to take the exam. The University Grants Commission’s (UGC) recommended guidelines serve as the foundation for the revised KMAT eligibility requirements. Even while all participating colleges must meet the same eligibility requirements, some may have additional criteria for admission.<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Candidates for the MBA program must have graduated in any subject from a reputable college or university, including business, management, the arts, the social sciences, engineering, and technology.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Qualification Points: Candidates must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 50% or an equivalent CGPA on their Bachelor’s degree final year exams.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The minimum aggregate requirement for SC\/ST category candidates is 45% or an equivalent CGPA.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Candidates who wish to enroll in MCA programs through the KMAT 2023 must possess a bachelor’s degree in any stream.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Candidates must have earned a minimum overall score of 50% on their bachelor’s degree final examination. In addition, they must have taken Mathematics in Class 12 as a subject.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Age Requirement to Take the KMAT: KPPGCA does not specify an upper age limit for the Karnataka KMAT. However, in order to be admitted, applicants must be at least 21 years old.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    How to Apply and register yourself<\/b><\/h2>\n

    KMAT Registration, which began in June, is the first step in the KMAT admissions process. On the official website, applicants must complete the online KMAT application form.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Candidates must register for the KMAT on the KMAT India website. They must fill out the online application form with basic information, like their country, place of residence, reservation type, and academic background. They must also provide photos and digital signatures. Only after the application fee has been paid, which can be done online using alternatives like Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Wallets, etc., will the application process be deemed complete.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • After registering, candidates should complete out the KMAT application form with the necessary details and supporting documentation.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Candidates will receive their KMAT admit card after submitting their applications successfully. On the official website, the admission card will be accessible for download in September. By entering their login information on the admit card window, candidates can access their admit cards.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The KMAT exam must be taken on the stated date and time by all candidates. The exam, which will be taken online, will probably take place in September.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The KMAT score will be made public online. It will list the eligibility of candidates, the marks attained in each section, the overall marks, and the exam rank.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Being successful on the test does not ensure admission to universities that recognize KMAT marks.       Admit Card<\/b><\/p>\n

      On the official website, the KMAT admit card will be made accessible for download. Candidates must have it with them at all times while taking the test.
