Islamiah Institute of Technology first minority Engineering college in karnataka, was established by the Islamic Mission of India (Regd.) in 1979. with a mission of providing excellent technical Education. The Institute has a vast campus (32.5 Acres) located in a picturesque locale in center of the Bangalore city. Islamic Mission of India is registered under Karnataka societies Reg. Act 1960.

The institute has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record. The graduates have been recruited by some of the leading corporations and companies. Better interaction between Technical institutions and industry is the need of the hour. This will have great bearing on the Engineering Curriculum, exposure of industrial atmosphere to engineering students and subsequent placement of young graduating engineers in industries across the country.
Here the college infrastructure is not good and placements are also not upto the mark.
Academics wise college is good.But placements is low.We can get knowledge here with the help of some faculty.They are really good actually.
Some of the faculty are awesome here.They are well qualified and experienced.They will ready to help the students all the time.They will give 100% support.They will clarify all the doubts and helps to give practical knowledge to the students.Iam thankful to them.

The college is located near Meenakshi mall.The placements are very low.Only computer science and electronics branch students have the placements,and others have to find the jobs on their own.The teaching faculty does not have much experience,so they should improve.The college infrastructure is very poor and consists of 3 blocks, which are very small.Needs to improve a lot.
