Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences Entrance Exam ( SHIATS Entrance Exam ) 2018

For Undergraduate Courses:

• 0+2 qualified from a recognized board, with 50% marks in any stream as per the eligibility criteria.

• The Institute has reserved quota for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, other backward classes and physically handicapped candidates. For all these candidates, the eligibility cut-off for application is set as 45% at 10+2 level.

• Candidates appearing in the 10+2 examination too are eligible to appear for SHIAT EE 2018. However, all documentary evidence of the same must be furnished at the time of counseling.

For Postgraduate Courses:
 

• Graduates with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the relevant discipline.

• The Institute has reserved quotas for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, other backward classes and physically handicapped candidates. For all these candidates, the eligibility cut-off for application is set at 45%.

• Candidates appearing for the final year of their graduation examination too are eligible to appear for SHIATS EE 2018. However, all documentary proof of the same must be furnished at the time of counseling.

For B.Ed:

• Candidates having 50% marks in the bachelor’s or master’s degree with two school subjects part of their graduate study are deemed eligible.

For M.Ed:

• The candidate must have a B.Ed degree with 55% marks in the same.

For B.P.Ed :

• Candidate must be a graduate in any stream with physical education as an elective. He/she must have scored 45% in the same.

• He/she must have participated in the all-India inter-university competition.

For Ph.D:

• Candidate should have regular master degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or 6.00 CGPA/OGPA) for general candidate and 50% marks (or 5.5 CGPA/OGPA) for SC/ST/Physically handicapped candidates.
