About (Brief description)

Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR) is an Autonomous Body under Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DIVYANGJAN), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. It is located in a beautiful rural area at Olatpur at a distance of 30 Kms. from Cuttack and Bhubaneswar. It conducts three Bachelor Degree courses in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics, two Postgraduate courses of Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar.

Eligibility

For BPT:

10+2 (Higher/Senior Secondary Examination) Sc. or equivalent recognized examination with subjects-Physics (P), Chemistry( C ), Biology (B)
English with a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General/OBC and 40% for SC/ST & PH candidates.

For BOT:

10+2 (Higher/Senior Secondary Examination) Sc or equivalent recognized examination with subjects- Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology (B)
English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General/OBC and 40% for SC/ST & PH candidates

For BPO:

10+2 (Higher/Senior Secondary Examination) Sc or equivalent recognized examination with subjects Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology(B) or Mathematics (M)
English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB/PCM when taken together for General/OBC and 40% for SC/ST & PH candidates
