The Government of India invites applications from students of class 11 and 12 for Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities 2017-18. The main objective of this scheme is to provide scholarships for students after 12th to pursue higher education. Minority communities like Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians/Parsis will be benefitted from it by getting more jobs, thus, increasing their employability rate. The scholarship would cover their admission, course, tuition fee and maintenance allowance.
1.Students pursuing class 11th, 12th, graduation, post-graduation, technical or vocational courses, M.Phil. or Ph.D. 2.Students who belong to Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhists, Jain or Parsi community 3.Candidates who’ve scored minimum 50% marks or equivalent in previous course 4.The annual income of the family must not be more than INR 200,000 from all the sources 5.The scholarship would be given to maximum two children in the same family
