Great news for Plust two students who have planning/ chosen for higher studies in pure science courses, after Plust two (12th).
The applications are invited for the “Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)”, a component of INSPIRE, for students studying courses in basic sciences/natural at B.Sc , B.Sc (Hons), integrated MS /M.Sc programs in any one of the recognized institutions in India.
Under SHE total of 10,000 scholarships are available annually.
Eligible candidates will receive annually scholarship at total value Rs.80,000 per candidate. The cash value payable to the SHE scholarship holder is Rs.60,000 per annum along with a summer time attachment fee of Rs.20,000 which will be paid to the mentoring institution for undertaking summer time project.
The selection of candidates will be based on performance in Board Examinations within the cut-off threshold (of top 1%) for each State or Central Board Examination at Class XII.
This scholarship after 12th is not applicable for courses in engineering, medicine, technology and other professional / applied science courses.
