Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is a government-owned self-governing university.These courses include Engineering, Sciences, Humanities, Law, Management, Commerce and Computer applications.
How to Apply
Register Online:
Candidates have to register in online for being able to fill up the CUSAT CAT application form.
To create the CUSAT CAT account, candidates have to enter their basic details such as name, date of birth, valid email ID, phone number, etc.,.
A CUSAT CAT user-id and password will be created which will be sent to the candidate via mail or SMS.
Candidates will need to log in with the given user CUSAT CAT ID and password.
All the details have to be filled in CUSAT CAT application form by the candidates.
After entering all the relevant details of CUSAT CAT form, candidates will require uploading the scanned images of their recent passport size colored photograph and signature.
Candidates will require paying the CUSAT CAT application fee online through Debit card/ Credit card/ Net banking or through Challan (SBI or SBT bank only).
Candidates must ensure to take a print out of the “Confirmation Page” and keep it for future reference

Eligibility
The eligible candidates to appear for the CUSAT test are all Indian/Foreign/PIO.
The Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) and Kerala Scheduled Cast (KSC) communities Candidates are eligible only if they have minimum passing marks in the qualifying examination, except for Marine Engineering to satisfy the eligibility criteria for CUSAT CAT.
For all UG courses (except Marine Engineering), the eligibility criteria for SEBC candidates with Non-Creamy Layer Status of Kerala State into B.Tech programme is minimum 45% in Mathematics and 45% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) put together in the qualifying CUSAT examination for candidates to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
For PG Courses, SEBC-NCL candidates of Kerala state are given a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks for or unless otherwise specified.
With a valid GATE score card, the candidates applying for M.Tech Programmes are eligible for 5% relaxation in the qualifying examination marks.
Candidates who want to pursue a B.Tech programme in CUSAT, they should have qualified class 12thfrom the state of Kerala or any other equivalent board with PCM.
Candidates applying for MBA programmes should clear MAT 2018/ C-MAT 2018/ CAT 2018 examination to satisfy the eligibility criteria for CUSAT CAT 2018.
Those candidates who want to get admission into the M.Tech programme (except Marine engineering), have to clear GATE 2018 or DAT 2018 (conducted by the university) to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
