National Institute of Design (NID) Entrance Examination 2018

National Institute of Design (NID) Entrance Examination is a national level design admission test that is conducted by National Institute of Design. On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in NID Entrance Examinationa a candidate  can secure admission in BDes and MDes programmes offered at colleges accepting the entrance examination’s scores.

In order to secure admission in MDes and BDes courses, candidates need to take part in NID admission process which is 3 tiered. Here, first of all aspirants need to take NID DAT. Once a candidate is shortlisted in NID entrance exam then candidate need to appear for the studio test and interview round.

The application process for the exam commenced on  25th September, 2017 and NID DAT (Prelims) is scheduled to be held in 7th January , 2018.

How to Apply (B.Des/GDPD & M.Des) : 
 

To apply for NID Entrance Exam, visit the official admissions website at www.admissions.nid.edu and follow the steps below:
Step 0:
Read and understand the eligibility criteria, number of seats, test centres, reservation policy and other relevant information related to admissions to the B.Des., GDPD and M.Des programmes. 
Step 1:  Do Sign up/Registration process
Step 2:  After successful registration , Fill the Online Application Form
Step 3:  Once the application form is filled completely, Upload your Documents & signature
