Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. Food Technology at government rates. Tirupati’s unique context — home to TTD’s large-scale food preparation (prasadam) infrastructure and growing food processing clusters in the Chittoor-Tirupati belt (tomato paste, mango pickle, chilli powder) — gives students exceptional real-world food industry exposure. SVU also has strong research linkages with CFTRI, Mysore for student project placements.

Vignan’s University (NAAC A) offers B.Tech Food Technology at competitive deemed university fees — more affordable than KLU or GITAM. Adikavi Nannaya University in Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry) serves the Godavari delta region — one of India’s richest agricultural zones producing rice, sugarcane, coconut, banana, and aquaculture products. The B.Sc. Food Technology program benefits from proximity to rice mills, fish processing units, and coconut oil mills for industrial visits and project work.
