Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT)
Tamil Nadu is renowned for its educational facilities and VIT is one of the reasons why students from all around the country flock to the South Indian state to pursue higher education. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has been in existence ever since it was founded by G. Vishwanathan in 1984.

National Institutes of Technology (NITs)
If IIT is Bill Gates, then NIT is the Warren Buffet of Engineering. They both are rich in history, have constantly been at the top when it comes to Engineering education and has immense national importance.
There a total of 31 NIT all over the country. With over 19,000 seats up for the taking in various programmes, it is the best autonomous network of public universities in India.
Out of the 31, NIT Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, and Rourkela are said to be most excellent of the lot. The institutes place nearly 11,000 students on a yearly basis across all branches with an average placement record of almost 70%. These, of course, depend on student performance and other contributing factors.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT – NSIT), Delhi
It was only in 2018 that Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology was given university status, making it NSUT. Located in Dwarka, Delhi, NSUT has been around since 1983 and has charted quite a journey from starting with 45 students to become an autonomous university with a wide range of programmes.
Outlook India ranked it at #8 while the Week put it at #17 when it came to the best engineering colleges in India.
NSUT has an unfluctuating record of placing at least 650 students every year. Nearly 180 companies show up at the Delhi-based campus with 112 being repeated recruiters.

Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET), Patiala
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology has a 64-year history, having been founded in 1955 by Karam Chand Thapar. The deemed-to-be-university is spread across a 250-acre land in Patiala, Punjab and is one of the most highly ranked engineering institutes in India.
NRIF has it placed at #20 while India Today and Outlook India have positioned it at 10 and 19 respectively. A host of private and public sector organizations are invited to the college campus to conduct interviews with final year students from all branches.
