Jain Entrance Test(JET 2018) Details – Application Deadline, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Fee & Syllabus
JET (Jain University Test) is an entrance exam conducted by Jain University. The university has opened up for online applications from 6th Of November, 2017.
Students who want to pursue B.E/B.Tech courses from Jain University can apply for the exam through online or offline mode. Read on to find out how to apply, what are all the eligibility criteria’s and to learn about important dates.
JET Important Dates:
- Availability of JET 2018 application form: November 6, 2017
- Last date to fill and submit JET application form 2018: April 20, 2018
- JET 2018 Hall Ticket Release: April 15, 2018
- JET 2018 entrance exam: April 22, 2018
- The announcement of JET result 2018: April 23, 2018
- JET counselling/ seat allotment 2018 : April 25-26, 2018
- Last date for seat blocking: April 28, 2018
Eligibility:
- You should have passed PUC (Pre University) or CBSE/ICSE equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology.
- If you belong to SC/ST category, you should have a minimum aggregate of 55% in PUC or any equivalent.
- You are eligible to apply if you are still waiting for your results.
How to Apply:
Follow the given steps to apply for JET 2018 Exam.
- Go To Jain University’s Website.
- Create a new account by filling Name, Email, Valid Mobile number and other fields. If you already have an account, log in and jump to next step.
- You’ll receive a confirmation mail after submitting the sign-up form, head to your inbox and confirm the mail.
The first step, i.e. creating an account is complete here.
- Next thing is to log in to your new account using your email and password.
- Select your program type as Undergraduate, name as B.Tech and Name the course you want to enroll into.
- Click on create application(Apply Now) button.
- Fill up the form with correct information.
- Once you have filled the application, you’ll be asked to upload the documents, Make sure you upload the following documents before you hit the submit button.
- Passport size photograph
- Scanned image of the signature
- Scanned copy of class X mark sheet
- Scanned copy of class XI mark sheet
- Scanned copy of class XII mark sheet (For pass out students)
- Scanned copy of degree, mark sheet, final year diploma mark sheet
- Once you have uploaded the documents, you can choose to preview the application to check if you have made any mistakes.
- If you have made mistakes, you can edit the form and correct them.
Here are the steps to make payment
- Click on “Pay Now” to pay the fees.
- The payment can be made by any of the following modes – debit, credit card, net banking etc.
- Enter the details required and make the payment.

Application Fee:
Fee for JET Application 2018 is Rs. 550. Make you sure you make the payment along with your application or else the application will not be processed since it will be marked as incomplete.
Syllabus:
The syllabus of JET 2018 will be based on Class XI & XII of CBSE for Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. JET syllabus 2018 will have topics and chapters from which questions will be asked in the exam, therefore, it becomes important for candidates to know the complete syllabus of JET 2018.
Exam Pattern:
All the questions will be objective types. The total duration of the exam will be 3 Hours.
